The Sounds of Surreal
Firstly, a disclaimer: Despite the name, the sounds of A Surreal Motive do not necessarily transport you to other dimensions. ASM has always been about random experimentation uncaring of what the world thinks. To its own abilities.
In all honesty, the face of ASM is simply a random female on the internet armed only with a computer, Anvil Studio and Guitar Pro, who went through classical piano with agony and never touched those keys again after obtaining her ABRSM Grade 8. She has completely forgotten her music theory (what were diminished 5ths again?) and thus composes only through instinct and gut feel (and neuronal maps, for those who know what they are). She did, however, have a healthy interest in playing the drums so her beats may be a little more developed than her tunes. Also, she only composes when she has a little light bulb of inspiration. Unfortunately, these often (actually, always) do not last through the song. So all her tunes are, apparently, incomplete.
